PRINCETON UNIVERSITY
SERVICES
Virtual Events | Alumni Engagement | Marketing
Princeton University is one of the leading universities in the world. Princeton places a tremendous priority on alumni engagement and has one of the most engaged alumni groups of any university.
THE CHALLENGE
The pandemic led to cancellation of annual Princeton alumni events, including reunions—the most popular and well-attended alumni event for over two centuries. Reunions builds camaraderie among Princetonians, reinforces classmate bonds, and promotes alumni engagement and fundraising. Our work focuses on reimagining alumni engagement to pivot to a virtual platform and build alumni class engagement during Covid-19.
THE STRATEGY
Build connections and school spirit by creating virtual class events to keep alumni engaged. Recruit alumni and build committee to create a wide range of events, including reunion, ongoing Tiger Chats, and Tiger Talks.
GAME-CHANGING EXECUTION
Renew connections and school spirit by building and leading diverse committee to create robust virtual programs. Produce events to keep alumni engaged including Tiger Night Live, an innovative virtual class reunion event, bimonthly Tiger Chats, and monthly Tiger Talks led by CEO Wendy Gerber. Successful events generate record attendance with classmates from as far as Malawi and Beijing, many of whom had never attended Princeton alumni events before.
